On behalf of the officers and members of the Kiwanis Club of Nassau, A.M., I am pleased to welcome you to our
website!   This site is designed to provide members, prospective Kiwanians, visiting Kiwanians and guests the
opportunity to find out more about the Kiwanis Club of Nassau, A.M., including its rich history, projects, meeting
notes and information about becoming a member of our Club. A heartfelt thanks goes out to our web designer/web
mistress Kiwanian Verna for this fantastic website! We hope you enjoy browsing the many pages of information.

The Kiwanis Club of Nassau, A.M. was chartered on March 25th, 1981 on the beautiful island of New Providence in
the Commonwealth of the Bahamas and is now celebrating its 28th year of providing much needed high quality
service to the communities of New Providence.  I am humbled to have been afforded  the honor and privilege to
serve as Club President for the 2008/2009 administrative year.

Today, the Kiwanis Club of Nassau A.M. stands as a great beacon of light to those who yearn to positively change
lives. We, a small yet committed group, have become the benefactors of hope for many and are charged to continue
in that most grand tradition of our organization: service to our communities.

We meet here today at a time when we find ourselves at a crossroads. It's a time of grave circumstances but also a
time of tremendous opportunity – opportunity to extend a helping hand into our communities and incite change that
will impact real lives. This is the history of our organization and this is what makes us Kiwanians.

As we look to the past for examples of our organization's generosity and veer purposefully into the       future, there
is but one theme I thought appropriate for this year:
"REACHING OUT AND CHANGING LIVES."

As President, it is my aim to craft an ambitious  vision – one that will put us at the forefront of charity and one that will
extend deep into communities, impacting and changing lives each step of the way.  Together, we can reach out and
touch a child, touch a life, change a life!

Please feel free to sign our guest book and do visit us at one of our regular meetings which are held every Monday
evening at 7:30pm at the Wyndham Nassau Resort, Cable Beach.

May God Bless!

Yours in Service
President Barry
