May the work I’ve done… this service I’ve given…. and the life I’ve lived, speak for me…”

My fellow Kiwanians, Families and Visitors, it is with great anticipation and with great honor that I
was elected to lead the Kiwanis Club of Nassau A.M., as the 30th President.  It is indeed a privilege
to serve in this capacity.  You have expressed your vote of confidence, by entrusting the leadership
in my care for the administrative year 2009/2010.

The theme I have selected for this year is “Empowering Our Community, One Child at a Time.”
Through Kiwanis, I was sensitized to the needs of others; through Kiwanis I learnt that the food I
wasted others only wished they had, and through Kiwanis, I’ve formed enduring friendships.  Fellow
Kiwanians, I ask your continued commitment, dedication and support to Empower Our Community,
through love and service.

I would like to thank my family for their support and all Past Presidents, Officers and members of
Kiwanis Club of Nassau, A.M.,  for the firm foundation that you have prepared.  As I walk in your
footsteps, I want to plant my own.  I don’t want to lead where you don’t follow.  I accepted this
challenge with you at my side.  Again, thank you for embracing the opportunity of “Empowering Our
Community, One Child at a Time.”

Yours in Kiwanis Service,

Anthon Moss, President
